Stream Conservation

Our conservation program is the heart of PPTU. We have worked to improve conditions in the Patuxent River for decades in close coordination with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources via stream monitoring, posting of fishing regulations, tree plantings, trail maintenance, and trout stockings. We advocate for policies that protect cold-water fisheries.
