This year’s outing was great.  Most people caught fish, the water level was good, and the weather for the morning was beautiful with temperatures in the mid 70’s. There was no wind to cause problems, and the skies were mostly sunny.  Water flow was 166 cfs, and the water was slightly off color. The only inconvenience this year was turning onto Bunker Hill Road to get to our meeting area.  As it turns out, the 2025 Bull Run Invitational, hosted by Hereford High School in Parkton was also being held on this day and for some reason they were using the sides of Bunker Hill Road as the bus parking lot (they had a lot of buses).
Most of our group fished the Bunker Hill, and Blue Mt Road areas.

At 12:00 we rendezvoused back at the parking lot to register our catch totals, have lunch, and share stories of the morning’s exploits.

Thanks to all who participated, and special thanks to those who brought food to share and to Jouky Chang for manning the grill this year.

I hope to see you all and more of our chapter members competing again next year.
