Monthly Fly Tying Events

PPTU is starting a monthly social get-together focused on fly tying!!  It’s an opportunity to share your tying knowledge, improve your skills, or simply watch others tie flies and talk about fishing.  All members and guests are invited even if you’re just thinking about learning to tie. 
 
The plan is to meet the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-9 pm at The Greene Turtle in Burtonsville, MD.  You're encouraged to order food and/or drinks.
 
This first meeting will have a focus on tying shad flies, but you can tie whatever you want.  Tiers should bring their own portable equipment and materials.  An electrical outlet is available in another area, but I suggest bringing a battery-powered light if needed, as a backup.
 
The first meeting is Tuesday, April 8th (actually the second Tuesday, but only for this month).  This is a great opportunity to c'mon out and meet some other PPTU members!!
